SHERRY A. DORSEY

Sherry A. Dorsey is the President/CEO of SWAP PRODUCTIONS LLC an independent film production company she founded in conjunction with three partners to "enhance filmmaking in the tri-state area".

Dorsey received a Master of Fine Arts in Film from Howard University and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Journalism from the University of Delaware. Dorsey has worked in the film industry on independent productions for seven years. Dorsey has held several positions on various film sets from Production Assistant to Director. Additionally, Dorsey served as President of the Graduate Student Film Association while at Howard University, where she also taught undergraduates radio, television and film. The Wilmington, Delaware native also attended St. Elizabeth High School.

Dorsey's mentors and former educators are Bill Duke and Haile Gerima, two well-renowned directors, who have helped her become the passionate filmmaker she is today.

Dorsey directed, produced and wrote "Justice For All: The Documentary" a three-year comprehensive study of the juvenile justice system in America and abroad.

Additionally, she played "Chantal" in The Good Egg at the Grand Opera House in conjunction with the Wilmington City Theatre Company and directed Annie and served as Assistant Director on The Wiz held at the Grand Opera House for Heidi's Academy for the Performing Arts.

Dorsey Executive Produced Radimi: Who Stole The Dream, a 35 mm short film, winner for Best Dramatic Short at the Wilmington Independent Film Festival in 2002. Her most recent endeavor is A Mother's Love, about the affects that breast cancer has on a family, which won the Best Screenplay Award at the Houston Multicultural International Film Festival in 2002.

KAREN A. DORSEY

Karen A. Dorsey received a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Delaware State University. She immediately helped establish SWAP PRODUCTIONS LLC upon graduation, where she serves as the 1st Vice President.

Dorsey has worked in the school systems in Delaware and Pennsylvania and at MBNA. At MBNA, she received distinguished honors for being a first-rated employee.

Dorsey produced "Justice For All: The Documentary" a three-year comprehensive study of the juvenile justice system in America and abroad.

Dorsey was the Associate Producer and an actor in Radimi: Who Stole the Dream, an independent 35mm film, that won the Best Dramatic Short Award at the Wilmington Independent Film Festival in 2002. She has over four years experience in the film industry. Dorsey is currently Executive Producing and acting in A Mother's Love, the most recent film venture about breast cancer's affect on a family for SWAP PRODUCTIONS LLC.

TERRI L. SMITH

Terri L. Smith is the Secretary/Treasurer of SWAP PRODUCTIONS LLC. Born and raised in Wilmington, Delaware, she attended Padua Academy and went on to begin her collegiate career at Philadelphia University. She later transferred to Delaware State University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management. Smith is currently attending the Art Institute of Philadelphia and majoring in Interior Design. She is also a licensed Real Estate agent in the State of Delaware. Her professionalism, education and industrious nature make her a valued asset at SWAP.

Smith produced "Justice For All: The Documentary" a three-year comprehensive study of the juvenile justice system in America and abroad.

Smith was the set designer and an actor in the independent 35mm film Radimi: Who Stole The Dream, winner for Best Dramatic Short at the Wilmington Independent Film Festival in 2002. Smith is also a Producer for the upcoming independent feature film A Mother's Love, which focuses on the affects breast cancer has on a family.

TERRI L. MEEKS


Terri L. Meeks is the distinguished graduate of Radford Business School in Pittsburgh, PA. Meeks has worked in the financial community for over 20 years and she continues to make strides. Meeks exemplifies the entrepreneurial spirit for she is the co-founder of Altvest, an Internet Hedge Fund Database. Currently, Meeks is the Operations Manager for Protégé Partners, a New York based company. Meeks was the Associate Producer for the film Radimi: Who Stole the Dream, which won the Wilmington Independent Film Festival for Best Dramatic Short in 2002. Meeks has over three years experience in the film industry. She is also the 1st Vice President of SWAP PRODUCTIONS LLC, where she is presently Executive Producing A Mother's Love, an independent feature film about the affects that breast cancer has on a family.
